The Role:
EOI - Electrical Engineer - Solar
We are currently seeking expressions of interest for a client-side Electrical Engineer with a background in concept, engineering, through to construction, working on a long term contract.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the delivery of the electrical, substation and SCADA controls packages
• Ensuring all electrical site construction activities are delivered to enable the successful completion
• Mentor project execution quality through review
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with contractors
• Ensuring that the Contractors are acting/working in compliance with the terms of the Contract
• Provide inputs to reporting of project progress and update installed quantity reports
The Company:
Our client is one of the world’s largest Solar manufacturing & power generating companies. They also have other renewable projects within the Wind & Hydro sectors.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering Degree (Electrical)
• Circa 8 years experience in a similar role
• Preferably some experience in the solar industry
• Management of Consultant contracts from client side
• Strong communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of Australian Standards as applicable to construction of a solar farm
