We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Civil Discipline team who will help contribute to the company's continual growth and success.
The engineer will assist the civil team in the delivery of a project’s design and documentation from concept to completion, utilising and developing the technical skills necessary for tackling complex engineering problems.
This role offers opportunities to:

The key responsibilities of the Civil Engineer will include:
- Supporting the project team to deliver projects from concept to completion, utilising and developing technical skills to deliver high-quality and detailed designs
- Assist the Principal Civil Engineer in undertaking hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, water quality modelling, design of minor and major drainage systems, design of OSD systems, WSUD strategy development, and the design of subdivision roads, pavements and public domain areas
- Prepare civil and stormwater documentation at the Development Application (DA), Construction Certificate (CC) and For Construction (FC) phases of the project
- Assist the Principal Civil Engineer in addressing requirements during the Construction Phase of the project
- Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders.
Role requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit experience is an advantage)
- Experience in stormwater drainage, WSUD, civil design works for urban development including subdivision roads, pavements and public domain areas
- At least 3 years’ local experience working within a building and/or civil consultancy
- Experience with software such as DRAINS, XP-RAFTS, MUSIC, HEC-RAS, Civil 3D or 12D
- Thorough knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards through practical design implementation
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior management and external stakeholders to produce commercial, client focused outcomes
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
