Associate Civil Engineer - Office Leader

The role
 
 
Due to landing a large new Brisbane based infrastructure project, they are currently searching for a Senior Level Civil Engineer to open a brand new Brisbane office and build a team around them.
 
Using this new project as a spring board, you will be able to grow an office with the full support of the interstate business leaders and by using your networks and client relationships you will build a pipeline and create a positive culture and thriving business within a buoyant market.
 
You will have the autonomy to build this business how you see fit and will be able to move rapidly towards and equity position in the company as you grow the Brisbane capability.
 
This is the perfect model for someone who feels constrained by their current employer and who want to break free of the shackles and really push their career forward.
 
 
The responsibilities
 

• Civil Engineering management on a large infrastructure project
• Design coordination
• Client liaison
• Hiring of design and engineering staff
• Day to day office management

 
 
The requirements
 

• 10 years experience min in Civil Engineering in SE QLD
• Exposure to land development and/or infrastructure projects
• Chartered / RPEQ status
• Established client networks
• Exposure to managing staff
• Experience in business development
