Due to significant and sustained growth in the market and WSP’s market share we have an exciting opportunity for Electrical Engineers in the early stages of their career to join our growing NSW Power group, focusing on traction power work in NSW. Power and rail industry experience is not essential to be considered for this role but a thirst for knowledge and a passion for development into this area is.

This is not routine engineering. Our group takes on the challenging projects where the infrastructure is operationally critical to our clients and our community, and where every design and situation requires a unique and well though-out solution.
 
The successful applicant will have a mixture of some or all the following:

• An Electrical Engineering degree is essential.
• 1-3 years post-graduate experience in and electrical design or site engineering role. While we are always interested in attracting talent at all levels, only early-career engineers will be considered for this particular role.
• Have had some experience in providing practical real-world solutions underpinned by sound engineering analysis.
• An understanding of safety in design principles, and the practicalities of how safety is applied on site.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites and offices around Australia desirable.
• The right to work in Australia, or a pathway to obtain a suitable visa.
