Job tasks and responsibilities
This position involves the project management of various building related works across various sectors, to ensure they are delivered in accordance with the clients requirements and relevant standards:
- Management of project administration;
- Management of project finances (revenues, costs, forecasts);
- Management of project time schedule, including development, implementation, and monitoring of programs;
- Management of project quality assurance;
- Design coordination;
- Management of project safety assurance;
- Convening and chairing meetings as required (PCG, Design, Construction Team) and distributing accurate minutes of these meetings;
- Client liaison;
- Consultant liaison;
- Preparation of monthly Project Status Reports;
- Development and implementation of Project Delivery Plan;
- Review & Approval of Head Contract Variation and Extension of Time claims received from Contractors;
- Responding to and resolving Contractor RFIs;
- Acting as Superintendents Representative of Contracts;
- Uphold the values of RMG in undertaking any services consulting services; and
- Contribution to new business development.
Skills and experience
- You will hold a diploma/tertiary qualification in project management or similar construction related field;
- Sound knowledge in project management of building related works;
- Ability to work within a team;
- Experience in using project management software;
- Ability to deliver on tight timeframes;
- Understanding of business, QA and financial principles;
- Minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience; and
- An attitude that fits with RMGs' culture.
