ALG is currently recruiting for Licenced Aircraft Engineers (B2 - Avionics), to undertake a short-term maintenance contract in the Pacific Region. The contract will consist of heavy maintenance of commercial jets, as well as exercising supervisory duties in the engineering team as required.
Initially for a period of 3 months, with potential extensions, this contract will offer a balanced schedule of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. This opportunity is open to international applicants, and on the relevant weeks the candidate will have travel entitlements to return home for those periods. In addition to this FIFO arrangement, there will be full accommodation provided.
To be considered, candidates will require:
- Trade qualifications as an Aircraft Engineer (Avionics)
- Current CASA or NZCAA Licence (B2 - Avionics), with aircraft type ratings on 737NG and ATR72
- Recent experience in heavy maintenance of the above aircraft types
- Ability to undertake at least 3 months of work in a FIFO arrangement
- Ability to pass a police check as required
