Your new company
An exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer has arisen to work with a well-respected civil contractor on a number of large construction projects in Sydney, who specialise in water, sewage and electrical projects.

Your new role
The successful Project Engineer will:

• Start onsite on the Sydney Metro Project at Barangaroo.
• Then move onto the M4/M5 Link tunnels.
• Your responsibilities will include planning, monitoring and inspecting construction activities on these projects.
• Other duties include sub-contractor management, ensuring health and safety is adhered to and resolving technical issues.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Site Engineer on a major project.
• Previous experience in civil water, sewage, electrical or drainage projects is a must.
• The ability to work in a close knit team and manage people and time effectively is required.
• Civil engineering degree or similar industry recognised qualifications are needed.
• Local experience in the civil construction industry is desired.
• The ability to work autonomously is critical as there is no mobile phone reception in the tunnels.
