ABOUT THE COMPANY.
      
This boutique Quantity Surveying firm holds strong relationships with its Clients, and enjoys a stable and steady project pipeline. With project capability across a range of sectors, there is a lot of diversity in this role, as well as independence.

ABOUT THE POSITION.
 
You will report directly to the Managing Director as well as the Client. Your role will begin in an Estimating focus, with a particular focus on procurement, and later diversify into a full PQS capacity.
 
DUTIES.

• Procurement of sub-contractors and suppliers 
• Negotiation and agreement of rates 
• Manage stock forecasts in reference to project pipeline
• Analyse tenders with subcontractors 
• Liaising with the Client, suppliers and subcontractors
• All other generalist PQS duties to follow your initial role

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE. 

• Previous experience in an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor role
• Strong understanding of the Sydney Construction market
• Ideally you will have experience with bank projects
• Tertiary qualification in a building related discipline is advantageous
• Experience using Buildsoft or CostX
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills are vital
