This employer is a boutique group with a history spanning over 5 years, who have already won awards for their commercial and apartment works.
As part of continued success they are seeking to appoint a Graduate Contracts Administrator / Estimator to join the team who have recently graduated with a degree in Construction Management who is seeking a graduate role with a smaller group where you will get experience on projects from cradle to grave. In this role you will work closely with Directors and get great exposure from cost planning and tender estimating, value engineering, contract administration and financial management of projects as well site based co-ordination as required.
Applicants are sought who have a strong appreciation of building methodology and high spec architectural design whilst some undergraduate experience in the construction sector would be benefical. You must be driven, have exceptional communication skills and a willingness to jump in the deep end and build lasting relationships with subcontractors and project stakeholders.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a boutique group lead by a senior managment team that values their staff and provides excptional mentorship and development opportunities. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE A BACHELOR DEGREE QUALIFICATION IN CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT, or equivalent, whilst candidates that are completing their studies at the end of 2018, and are available to work 4+ days a week will also be considered. Undergraduate experience within the industry would be looked upon favourably. A salary package in the $50k-$65k range is available, dependent upon experience.
