Site Supervisor Required
Buildsure are an Innovative building company providing high quality building and repair works across Queensland. We currently require an experienced site supervisor for projects in Brisbane and surrounding areas.
Our projects are varied and diverse is size and nature, ranging from multi-level apartment blocks; industrial and commercial projects; to new designer homes.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Supervisor you will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day work on multiple construction sites. You will ensure all materials are ordered correctly; Programmed efficiently and cost effectively; Coordinate subcontractors/ and our own skilled tradesman and apprentices; Onsite compliance with our safety, quality and environmental control systems; and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum QBCC Supervisors licence
- Must live in the Brisbane Metro Region
- A trade certificate in carpentry or other trade equivalent
- Working at heights training certification
- At least 10 years documented experience as a construction supervisor or better
- A First Aid certificate
- Excellent NCC and AS standards knowledge essential
- Ability to research and comply with manufactures installation methodology on commonly used building products.
- A clean drivers licence and police record
- The ability to push the building process in order to achieve timely milestones
- The ability to demonstrate and contribute strong technical knowledge across all trades and services; and Lead by example in regards to compliance with safety, health, quality and environmental regulations and procedures.
- The ability to develop and maintain project programs
- The ability to liaise with and coordinate all subcontractors to ensure build efficiency.
- The ability to liaise well with clients and solve problems including scope creep as they arise during the building process.
