Starting out 15 years ago the director of the business took an ethical and honest approach to the delivery of commercial projects. Over the years the company has grown to employ 25 people and built projects across commercial, civil, institutional, educational and many special use facilities.
The projects they tend to focus on are those that are unique and challenging such as heritage or special use facilities in the $1M-$10M range and occasionally larger. They thrive on the challenge of building projects that are both aesthetically pleasing and practically functional.
The Role
They are looking for a Project Manager who can lead the small works division.
You will be someone who first and foremost a builder at heart. You will have built a range of projects in the $100K - $1M range and always pushed to get great results. You will have strong programming skills and a deep understanding of the administration functions. Driving project teams is what you are good at and you earn the respect of all your peers from the Site Manager to the labourer and the subbies.
The key difference will be your ability to connect with clients and provide a service that others can't deliver. This team have built a reputation that sees them negotiate up to 75% of their work. They pride themselves on open and honest communication at all stages of the construction process.
