Based in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs and having over 30 years of operation behind them, this builder offers a great environment. Producing about 60 homes a year, they are the right size to not cut corners while also offering the support and feel that you'd want in your workplace. With stacks of jobs currently in pre-construction, they now need the right person to come on-board and fill the job.

The Role:  
Reporting directly to the pre-construction manager and interacting regularly with the General Manager of the business, this is a fairly autonomous role where you will be essentially handling all aspects of production estimating - including:
- Preparation and documenting of estimates
- Calculating quantities
- Maintaining inventories
- Using DataBuild to complete project tasks 
- Working on custom homes & some townhouses up to $300K-$800K

What you'll need:
- Building-related qualifications or trade background (ideally)  
- Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and construction methods  
- 3-5+ years estimating experience for a local housing builder
- Have experience completing custom take-offs from plans 
- Databuild experience 
- Good oral/written communication skills 
- Experienced estimators from a volume background are encouraged to apply
