The opportunity!

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Area Manager to join our construction team, reporting into a knowledgeable Operations Manager the role will suit someone who can support and develop a team of 5-8 supervisors to be the best they can be and someone who is a team player, reliable and enjoys working with aa large volume of projects.

Requirements to be successful:

• Experience as an Area or Construction Manager with a new home builder, with a proven record of delivering projects in the Sydney area
• 5+ years building and construction industry experience
• Essential experience in residential concrete slabs and greenfield sites
• 3-5 years of leadership experience, leading, developing and guiding a team of supervisors
• Oversee construction and co-ordination of trades to ensure a high-quality end product is produced
• Manage incomplete works at final inspection to agreed timeframes and standards
• Identify delays onsite and introduce acceptable strategies to reduce the impact on production timelines ensure builds are completed on time to quality standards and to the allocated budget
• Trade Qualification is desirable
• Time management, safety focus, able to meet deadlines, be well presented and organised
• Strong communication skills, ability to liaise with clients, employees and key stakeholders
• Exceptional customer care skills, attention to detail and solid computer skills
• WHS White Card
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence
