With over 15 years in the industry my client is one of Perth's finest Commercial builders.  They are a well respected company delivering excellence in quality, service and superior value for their clients.  Typically they build 10-15 commercial projects per year ranging from $500k- $8/$10million.  Most of their work is across Commercial offices, mixed use developments & industrial buildings. 
Currently they are in the market for an Estimator/Scheduler/Contract Administrator.

You will be responsible for;

-       Preparing written tenders and quotes including preliminary budget estimates
-       Prepare addenda to specifications
-       Prepare bill of quantities estimates using the Beams Software
-       Estimates for the luxury residential homes and the smaller commercial projects
-       Schedule the job from start to finish, quote send outs, accurate quantity takeoffs, issue of orders and review of job costs v budget
-       Reviewing and approving invoices from sub-contractors and suppliers.
-       Liaising with councils and WAWC to obtain all necessary permits and building licenses.

You will need to have:

-       Formal qualifications, either the Diploma of Building and Construction or a Construction Management and Economics degree or a Quantity Surveying tertiary qualification
-       A minimum of 5-8 years working with a luxury builder OR a Commercial builder in the Perth market with experience across Estimating, Scheduling, Contract Administration & Project Management.
-       Experience in working with Beams will be highly regarded
-       You will need to have demonstrated longevity in previous positions and have strong industry references to support your background
-       You will have a very strong construction background with a high attention to detail and the ability to read, understand and analyse architectural and engineering drawings
