Building Assessor / Supervisor – Insurance Building
Full-Time Role
With a service area currently covering from the Central Coast of NSW through to South East Queensland, Unique Building Partners is establishing itself as a reputable industry leader within the Insurance, Commercial and Residential Construction sectors.
Due to an increasing work load / recent growth period within our Insurance division, Unique Building Partners are seeking a Building Assessor / Supervisor to join our team. Position will be based out of our Tweed Heads office.
Role and responsibilities
- Carry out insurance inspections and complete accurate assessment reports on condition of property and policy coverage
- Create a detailed scope of works, preparing costings on repairs required
- Maintain Unique Building Partner’s impeccable reputation for high level customer service
- Manage a high-volume workload effectively and efficiently
- Review, assess and manage Work in Progress jobs in line with KPI targets
- Follow up trades and ensure repairs are completed to the customer's satisfaction and within company policy and procedures
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients and trade contractors
- Identify and act on potential business opportunities within the region
- Continuously ensure that financial and client SLA's targets are met, quality is upheld, and customer service is always maintained
- Ensure KPIs are met through weekly reporting to monitor workloads and turnover whilst meeting WH&S and quality management requirements
Please note travel across the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers of NSW will be required, to service areas affected by weather events and natural insurance repairs.
We Require from You:
- A minimum of 5 years in a trade background
- Proven experience in a similar role
- OH&S Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Current drivers licence
- Intermediate computer skills across Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities
