We currently have an opportunity for an Estimating Systems Training and Support coordinator to join our Group Pre-Contracts team. The preferred location for this role is Brisbane however, Melbourne, Sydney & Perth are also possible. In this role you will provide support to the Estimating Systems Training & Support Manager with the administration and setup of the John Holland preferred estimating application Candy, assist end users with setting up and maintaining data security, including backups.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide a comprehensive level of frontline help desk support
- Ensure all issues/queries/ongoing actions are logged, monitored, regularly responded to and closed out
- Troubleshoot estimating and software issues
- User administration (setup and maintaining User accounts)
- Work with IT to develop Candy data backup and recovery policy
- Assist in the development of training materials
- Schedule Candy training courses and liaise with Talent Diversity & Development to ensure smooth delivery
- Provide support and administration as required to other Pre-Contracts estimating systems such as Cats, EstimateOne, CostX and Expert
- Administer Pre-Contracts SharePoint site including creating new prospects, user access and managing group permissions
To be successful in this key role, you must have:
- Trade qualifications or equivalent in Construction, Computing or other relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years experience using an estimating tool with a top tier contractor
- Estimating experience using Candy with a top tier contractor
- Experience in software development lifecycle methodologies and concepts
