The Opportunity
Business is booming and our client are seeking a Senior Estimator/ Estimating Manager to assist with securing work, preparing cost estimates and tenders for residential construction in the greater Sydney Metropolitan area.
The Role
As the Senior Estimator/ Estimating Manager you will lead the Estimating team and you day will consist of;
- Coordinating proposals
- Drive and deliver tenders for upcoming work
- Work closely with Executive Management.
- Oversee the development of proposals in a timely manner
- Liaise directly with clients
About You
To be successfully shortlisted for this opportunity, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes;
- Previous experience in the residential and commercial Construction industry
- Local experience is a must
- A thorough knowledge of the pre-qualification and tender process
- Commercial Construction experience in Estimating or Bid Management
- Ability to work as part of a team to compile tenders and deliver competitive bids to clients
- Excellent time management skills
- Proven experience working in a high performing & forward-thinking team environment
- Excellent literacy, numeracy, commercial and risk management skills
- The drive to succeed, think laterally and consistently perform to high standards
- Outstanding negotiation skills and contract management experience
- Well-developed networks throughout the N.S.W industry
- Relevant academic qualifications.
