- Manage OHS compliance for RPV
- Ensure staff adhere to and are aware of RPV safety management systems
- Manage all internal communication activities
The Safety Support Officer provides a range of safety related support functions for Rail Projects Victoria (RPV) and the program of works in both development and delivery. This position manages compliance with workplace Occupation Health and Safety requirements at the various RPV team offices, ensures RPV staff are appropriately trained and equipped to undertake work outside the office and manage supplier contractors. The role will be required to initiate and implement appropriate action plans for urgent matters. Excellent communication skills and outstanding organisation skills are critical for this role.
