About the Role

MediRecords is on the lookout for a full-time Support Coordinator who's energetic, self-starting and shares our vision of changing the way healthcare is delivered.

Reporting to the Sales & Support Manager, you will be providing day-to-day support to new and existing users (health professionals) of MediRecords, and coordinating and monitoring the onboarding process for all new customers. 

Operating out of either our Brisbane or Sydney offices, you will be the first priority to handle all inbound customer contact (calls, chat and email) and first priority to troubleshoot all technical support inquiries received.

This role will include occasional travel to customer sites or the MediRecords Head Office in Sydney.

From time to time you may also be required to perform sales activities such as host product demonstrations via webinar, or making outbound calls to encourage prospective customers to start a free trial of the product.  

About You

You are a self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive on a dynamic, fast-paced crazy start-up health-tech environment. And most of all, service thinking is part of your DNA.

Your skills and experience:

  • You have previous customer service experience ideally in a mixed technology environment
  • You're able to build rapport easily, create new and maintain existing relationships with our clients
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You're full of energy, have a positive attitude, think creatively on your feet and handle multiple priorities while staying cool under pressure.
  • Willing to work on a rotating roster to cover all hours of operation (6am - 6pm AEST Monday to Friday).
  • You're alright at table tennis (or willing to learn).
  • You have an interest in emerging technologies or the digital health / health-tech industry.
  • You have intermediate to advanced excel skills and strong technical proficiency to assist with adhoc data entry tasks.

Desirable (but not required):

  • Experience in Healthcare (particularly Medicare and Secure Messaging) or Private Health Insurance claim processing
  • Experience with support systems (i.e. Zendesk, TeamViewer)
  • Valid drivers license
