We are seeking to employ a number of full-time Experienced Customer Service Officers/Skip Tracers to be based at our CBD office.

We are looking for individuals who have had experience working in a performance based role, who have been successful meeting and exceeding set KPI's and targets, with customer service experience and experience connecting with people over the phone to join our debt collection team.  Our growth means career progression and opportunities for reward and recognition are also available within the business for those with a desire to excel.  

This position involves working a rotating roster - Mondays to Fridays 8am to 8pm and Saturdays 9am to 5pm.

Reporting to the Customer Service Managers, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a customer portfolio (both consumer and commercial).
  • Maintaining well documented customer records.
  • Managing inbound and outbound collection calls.
  • Conducting skip tracing utilising a variety of databases and tools.
  • Negotiating, settling and monitoring payment arrangements.
  • Adherence to ASIC and ACCC debt collection guidelines, the Privacy Act, consumer credit code and other statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring all company policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.
  • Meeting targets and KPI's.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A well-developed communication style (both written and verbal), allowing them to build rapport with a wide range of customers.
  • Sound computer skills including intermediate word and excel skills.
  • A high level of resilience and assertiveness whilst maintaining exemplary customer service.
  • The ability to work autonomously, prioritise workload and work without supervision.
  • The ability to think outside the box using investigative and problem solving skills.

Although extensive on the job training, mentoring and coaching will be provided, previous experience (in debt collection and skip tracing) and an understanding of the industry is required.  If you are professional, well presented, can handle pressure, are willing to work evenings and weekends please apply.
