Position overview

We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Customer Service Officer.  The role is based at our Head Office in Clayton to support the Customer Service Call Centre during the peak season for hot water and heating.

Position responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Responding to phone and email queries in a professional, timely and appropriate manner
  • Liaising with the sales team to keep them abreast of customer needs in a timely manner
  • Act as a conduit for documentation between the company and customers
  • Provide a high level of professional customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information from the customer to handle product and service enquiries
  • Email or fax requested information to the customer as required by the Sales Representatives
  • Follow up the status of outstanding customer orders
  • Checking and maintaining the customer service mailbox
  • Liaising with logistics planner for any ‘purchase to order’ items in a timely manner ensuring estimated ship date is communicated to customer in a timely manner

 

What you can bring to Bosch

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Customer Service team member with the ability to work autonomously, establish effective relationships with internal and external customers and support our customer service team through the peak winter period.

You should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Sound verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
  • Customer service experience is essential, with preference to prior experience working in a call-center environment
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office and SAP skills are required
