This exciting role contributes to the say to day operations of the branch by offering sales assistance & technical solutions.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Being the first point of contact for the branch, including assisting customers over the front counter
- Liaising with customers via phone and email to assist in answering queries regarding products, pricing, orders, stock, delivery, account queries
- Cross-selling and up-selling products to customers
- Explaining product specifications, features and basic system designs
- Providing quotations based on customer specifications and needs
- Processing new customer orders and quotation requests
- Ordering stock and working closely with the Purchasing department
- Following up outstanding orders including liaising with couriers and purchasing
- Problem solving, complaints handling, resolving conflict
- Monitoring backorders and stock discrepancies
- Assisting with returns, repairs, credit and backorder processes
- Supporting the external sales teams, as well as management
- Continuously developing product knowledge for their range of products
- Liaising with the accounts department and communicating outstanding/overdue payments to customers
- General ADHOC duties
What you will need to succeed:
- Internal Sales Skills – customer relationship building, cross selling and up selling, problem solving/conflict resolution.
- Administration Skills – CRM, PRONTO, MS Office, Forefront
- Product Knowledge – Basic Access Control, Security/Intruder Systems, General CCTV Surveillance
- Credit Control & Returns – Warranty, repairs, returns, credit control and utilizing CRM
