About the role
We're looking for a dedicated Marketplace Integrity Specialist who will be based at our head office in Melbourne, Australia. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Marketplace Integrity Team.
Marketplace Integrity Specialists keep the Flippa marketplace safe and secure for all users and maximise both buyer and seller satisfaction through the enforcement of the Flippa Terms of Use.
This role reports into the the Head of Marketplace Operations. You will work closely with the local Listing Management team here in Melbourne, together with the wider Marketplace Integrity team located throughout the world.
Your main responsibility will be the assessment and verification of claims made by business owners looking to sell their business on Flippa. This includes verifying reported financial results, ownership, business performance, business operation, content and/ or product creation and distribution rights, social media presence and more. In addition you will be involved in mitigating and managing dispute and sanction processes amongst other Marketplace Integrity tasks that aim to maximise user experience by upholding the Flippa Terms of Use and ensuring the highest levels of quality on the marketplace.

Analytical, data driven, with fine attention to detail and a passion for clarity should be words that describe you. You will be communicating directly with business owners of all sizes throughout the world, so you need to be personable and eager to work with both internal and external parties to get results. You will need excellent communication skills.
