We are seeking an experienced claims management / customer service super star with capability to lead a call centre when required. In our fast paced and high energy environment, you will provide and promote a strong service culture, responding to customer claims, enquiries and complaints and contributing to our storm response activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills including strong conflict management resolution, ability to work in a team environment and exposure to and experience in supervising/coordinating a call centre.

The Role:

Reporting to the Group Support Services Manager, your duties will include but won’t be limited to:

  • Manage assigned insurance claims including liaising with clients, suppliers, assessors and repairers to coordinate claim resolution
  • Maintain, and support/train other personnel, in our claims management database across estimating, reporting, invoicing, scheduling and production functions
  • Prepare reporting for, and participate in, operations meetings
  • Coordinate supplier tenders, order and track parts, and maintain supplier relationships
  • Deliver storm response activities including assistance with mobilisation, site set up and assessments (travel involved)

Selection Criteria:

  • Ability to deliver professional and efficient service to customers, suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Efficient and accurate data entry and maintenance of claims database
  • Ability to communicate effectively and show initiative and enterprise
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet required time frames
  • Experience with claims management databases (vehicle repairer desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to travel at short notice
