Our National client are distributors, manufacturers and traders of Steel and are currently seeking an experienced Internal Sales person with previous experience and within steel to join their team in the West ASAP. You will be well rewarded for this role.
The purpose of your role is to:
- Contribute to sales growth and achievement of company targets.
- Grow customer sales and generation of new business.
- Build effective customer relationships.
Your key duties and responsibilities include:
- Process customer orders in a timely manner to meet customer expectations and delivery requirements.
- Complete customer quotations in a timely manner to meet customer expectations.
- Minimize the level of sales errors to under 1.5% of sales orders processed.
- Followed up all quotations within 1 business days and closed out accordingly with outcomes recorded.
- Attend monthly sales meetings.
- Provide weekly updates on call out activity of inactive accounts.
- Follow clients systems, processes and procedures and ensure all administrative duties assigned are performed in an orderly and timely manner.
- Provide management feedback on competitor activity, pricing and key projects.
- Be available to assist with all stock takes planned during each financial year.
Perform all other tasks as assigned from time to time. ·
