This exciting role is now available within our busy Production & Planning Team in the expanding JELD-WEN Glass Queensland business located at our Stapylton Site. This role is a temporary role covering for a maternity leave but may lead to a permanent position for the right candidate at the end of the term (June 2019).

Opening in 2006, in Victoria, providing other JELD-WEN businesses such as Stegbar, Regency, and Airlite with toughened, shaped, cut, drilled, and polished glass. In 2013, JELD-WEN invested in a multi-million dollar expansion with the world’s latest technology in Ceramic Printing, Painting, IGU manufacture, and a limitless combination of Custom Laminate options.
In 2017, a brand new factory was opened at Stapylton in Queensland. This factory is a glass processing plant which has a wide range of capability including, cutting, polishing, cut-out processing, toughening, painting and nano coating. We are now looking for a Technical Customer Service Officer at this facility.
Key tasks:
- Accurately enter orders into the system and work within specified timeline & procedures. This includes, but not limited to:
- Manual data/order entry
- Processing EDI orders
- CAD drawings
- Actively communicating with customers, sales representatives and production personnel for any order related matters
- Coordinating glass order related matters within the business
- Assist in production planning
- Assist in reviewing and processing credit claims.
Key skills & knowledge:
- Excellent customer service ethic
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word & Excel
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, including telephone & email manner
- High attention to details
- Ability to prioritise work load
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as work autonomously
- CAD drawing & glass industry experience will be highly regarded.
A national police report and pre-employment health assessment inclusive of drug and alcohol screening will be required.
