About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join the Ladbrokes Fraud Team in a full-time position in the role of Fraud Officer. The role will assist the Fraud Team to identify suspicious transactions and at-risk accounts. It will allow for expansion and greater depth of the Fraud Team’s investigative procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

  • Assist with the review of daily reports to identify suspicious transactions and accounts.
  • Monitor online deposits and withdrawals using system functionality to detect and investigate suspect transactions.
  • Assist the Fraud Team with ad-hoc duties and reports as directed by the Fraud Analysts.
  • Assist in developing new methods for fraud identification.
  • Be available to work a flexible 5 day roster, including regular weekend work.

Key Working Relationships

  •  This role will work closely with Client Services, Responsible Gambling and Anti-Money Laundering teams, as well as banks and law enforcement agencies.

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • An investigative and analytical mind.
  • Ability to take direction and work unsupervised.
  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility for your work.
  • Tech savvy with an understanding of basic IT concepts.
  • A willingness to learn, pro-active personality and a good work ethic.
  • Good knowledge of betting platforms and systems and/or prior work experience in a fraud prevention role.
