Company Overview

This large wealth management company not only is an industry leader but provides their clients with a full spectrum of wealth services.  As Senior Policy Manager you will be responsible for development and implementation of policy and advice standards nationally and translating regulatory requirements, customer expectations and the Advice strategy into policy framework. 

Role Overview

• Improve the understanding and application of policies to ensure our Advisers execute best interest duties
• Reduce risk and support the personal development of Advisers
• Develop and maintain Licensee standards
• Liaise with multiple groups and areas within the business to ensure effective implementation
• Work with the policy team to action any changes due to legislation & implementing best practice advice processes
• Implement all Operational Procedures across the business with regards to policy changes

Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience in the financial planning industry specifically in risk and compliance
• Detailed understanding of relevant laws and regulations underpinning the wealth business
• Ideally Tertiary Qualifications in a business related discipline 
• Certified Financial Planning qualified (desirable)
• Must have experience applying the above knowledge in a policy related role
