Leading Bank based in Sydney and that provide a wide range of financial solutions to retail, business, corporate and institutional clients.
Your new role
This is an entry level AML Analyst role, mainly associated around transaction monitoring. Some duties may include some of the below:
- Performing analysis and reviews of alerted accounts that result to a conclusion as to whether the triggering transactions are false positive, suspicious or not suspicious.
- Actioning triggering alerts due to structured cash deposits and withdrawals
- Alert management of Politically Exposed Person (PEP) daily and monthly screening
- Threshold Transaction Reporting
- Quality assurance
- Conduct Enhanced due diligence on escalated actions
What you'll need to succeed
- Any exposure to banking in an operational environment having covered AML activities
- Some Australian AML/KYC experience would be highly desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline e.g. Commerce, law, accounting or similar
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent attention to detail and can work well under pressure
- Ability to investigate, make logical findings and clearly articulate those findings
- Accurate and can pick things up quickly
