The Role
The Portfolio Administration team is responsible for maintaining client's investment records using Iress's Xplan software. This means daily reconciliation of client accounts, data entry, responding to account enquiries, compiling tax information packs, and assisting with accountant/auditor's queries. Portfolio Administrators also work closely with the Administration team, providing each other with assistance when required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have completed secondary education, and have a background in the financial services industry. Basic finance knowledge and experience in administration and/or reconciling funds would be advantageous. While training is provided, experience with Xplan's IPS module is highly desirable.
This role requires a team player who is methodical, organised, and has a high degree of attention to detail when reconciling. Especially an ability to remain focused and attentive when under pressure during the busiest reconciliation periods. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to address daily Client and Adviser requests. A helpful attitude and ability to take initiative are beneficial.
