- Brisbane CBD location
The Treasury Business Analyst role purpose is to provide business analysis support to the critical end to end Treasury functions of Suncorp Bank and servicing the business requirements of Treasury, Bank CFO, Treasury Control, Specialist Sales & Service and Treasury Operations.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Analysing support of the more complex projects/tasks as directed by the Treasury Task Forum
- Coordinating the collection, collation and analysis of information including reporting on findings and recommendations to the business with respect to tasks allocated
- Preparing or assisting to prepare business cases for change request justification within the portfolio of Treasury Systems
- Providing impact and resource metrics to the Treasury Task Forum regarding Issues, Incidents and Requests For Change
- Preparing Test Plans for Treasury testing initiatives
- Planning and managing the implementation of patch releases, bug fixes and associated testing for critical Treasury systems (eg, OPICS, ABS)
- Determining the advice to recommend on course of action for change and service requests
Skills & Experience:
- A strong understanding of the Financial markets and related products including a broad range of derivative instruments
- Well-developed organizational skills
- Proven SQL skills to an excellent level of competency
- Proven advanced analytical and reporting skills
- Ability to problem solve functions written in Java and Visual Basic
- Knowledge of the AFMA Code of Conduct and Corporations Law relating to Financial Markets
- Knowledge of Treasury, Risk and payment systems. OPICS knowledge is particularly well regarded
