The position of AML Senior Associate works as part of a team focused on the on-boarding requirements of our Corporate & Institutional Banking clients. The role is to support, liaise and work directly with the relationship teams to ensure that all AML requirements are executed in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review and verify AML documentation and assign risk rating for C&IB clients and provide AML approval
- Stakeholder engagement across various different teams and levels
- Overview ongoing customer due diligence process and other ad-hoc AML remediation projects
- Liaise with relationship teams to ensure compliance standards are met on all AML related matters
- Manage stakeholder and client relationships managing requests and queries
- Proactively manage risk by conducting quality assurance checks to ensure minimum standards are met
- Keep abreast of any process and procedure changes, identifying any risks or breaches along the way and escalating where required
- Role model AML standards and team work in a positive and enthusiastic manner
- Ensure C&IB procedures are compliant with NAB AML policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification with a minimum of undergraduate degree
- Experience in an AML related role
- Sound knowledge of AUSTRAC regulations and NAB's AML policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of the Bank's systems, procedures, products and services
