This well regarded financial services business requires a experienced Governance professional working within this growing Cosec function . Within this exciting and diverse role and you be assisting the business with management and oversight of their Governance from a COSEC. This area will play a key role in brands future strategic direction as this leading financial services brands seeks to divest and demerge key parts of their business.
Sitting within this leading bank this role will play a key role in the oversight of compliance and regulatory requirements as the business is seeking to evolve transform its overall business.
Within this high profile COSEC opportunity your day to day duties will include the following:
- Documentation and dissemination of COSEC requirements and where necessary, procedures to promote compliance across their regulatory governance obligations.
- Assess the impact of legislative changes to the business banking sector, and ensure the business units are fully informed and they in keeping with their standard contracts
- Helping the organisation of the separation of key business units as seek demerge key business units.
Suitable candidates will possess
As the successful candidate with relevant experience in corporate governance & company secretariat it will beneficial if you have knowledge across superannuation and or COSEC activities. It will also be beneficial that you will have a good understanding of Cosec and or you have a legal Qualification and you are looking to grow you in conjunction with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements with Wealth products. You will also need excellent written and verbal communication skills
