Our client is a well-known financial services brand looking for a Senior Risk and Compliance Manager to partner with their Group Functions. Group functions include Finance, Legal, HR and Public Affairs.
This is line 2 role that will provide oversight and advice to the business on developing, implementing and maintaining the Risk Management and Compliance Framework.
Reporting to the CRO you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and monitoring the operation of the enterprise risk and compliance framework including identification of key controls, incident management and reporting on key risk indicators
- Providing advice to the business on operational risk and compliance policies and procedures
- Building and maintaining relationships with Stakeholders in the business
- Performing second line assurance work and assisting with the control self-assessment program
- Delivering risk and compliance training and communications to business
- Advising and reporting on risk management across the Group Functions to relevant management and Board level Committees.
- Providing insight on and oversight of new regulation and legislation as it applies to and impacts the business
The successful candidate will have:
- 6years + experience in Risk Management, Compliance or Assurance within a financial services origination.
- Proven ability to manage change effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with senior stakeholders
- Ambition, drive and energy
- A history of high performance and high achievement
