The role of the Senior Auditor is to help deliver high quality audits and assist the organisation achieve its objectives through effective internal controls.

My client is one of Australia's leading financial services businesses covering insurance, banking and superannuation brands.

Description

• Perform end-to-end audits, project reviews and special ad hoc reviews in accordance with internal auditing standards within agreed budget and timeframes
• Review/develop detailed audit scope, program of work, audit tests, audit budget and resource requirements
• Assign audit work to and direct the activities of audit team members
• Prepare and/or review work papers and risk and controls matrix
• Analyse observations and test results to develop audit findings and recommendations
• Present and communicate audit findings
• Co-ordinate the finalisation of the audit report with senior stakeholders
• Analyse management action plans to ensure that risks will be controlled within the Board’s tolerance levels and follow up audit findings to ensure adequacy and timeliness of correction

Profile

• IT control testing experience and CISA qualification desirable
• Experience in data analytics audit techniques desirable
• Degree Qualification (Accounting, Finance, IT or a related field desirable)
• Relevant qualifications from professional bodies such as IIA, ICAA or CPA desirable
