The Client Reporting Analyst will report to the Manager for Client Reporting and is responsible for periodic and ad hoc reporting on client investment portfolios. 

This position requires a pro-active approach, and an ability to independently carry out the duties of the position whilst simultaneously being a team player. The incumbent must exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, good judgment, an ability to take initiative and to prioritise daily tasks. The ability to effectively manage your time and multi-task combined excellent with attention to detail is critical to this role.

Your responsibilities will include but would not be limited to:

• Ensuring client data is up-to-date and communicating with systems, vendors, and other stakeholders to verify data integrity.
• Responsibility for periodic and ad hoc financial reporting related to numerous investment portfolios, as well as specific positions within the portfolios. This will include the investigation and clearance of all exceptions on the client’s portfolio performance reports caused by various investment instruments like ASX, Managed Funds, International stocks, International / Domestic Bonds, Options, Margin Lending and cash etc.
• Reviewing and managing the quarterly / yearly production of all client portfolio performance reporting.
• Assisting with the analysis and research into account trends to better serve current and potential clients.
• Identifying reconciliation discrepancies, communicating account-allocations, and verifying tax statuses.
• Performing account management and reconciliation, consulting with customers, ensuring accurate data, and reporting status updates.

Our key selection criteria:

• A background in platform systems, investment banking or similar including an understanding of asset transfers (off market transfers / in specie transfers, HIN transfers & conversions, CHESS messaging) will be highly regarded
• Highly developed organisational, communication and written skills, with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint packages.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and high level oral and written communication essential for establishing and maintaining effective relationships 
• Strong team player and recognition that Powerwraps overall success is more important than the component parts

You should work well with other analysts to share important financial information in order to achieve the teams client reporting objectives in a timely manner. You should also understand complex tax-related forms and financial terminology.

Your ability to hit the ground running and assimilate into the existing team and workflows will be highly regarded.
