About the role

Our client is currently looking for an experienced regulatory compliance professional who will join as the Head of Compliance. This position reports directly to the CEO.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for making sure the business complies to local regulatory standards. 
  • Develop and maintain compliance frameworks that are appropriate to all business units. 
  • Stay across the businesses licensing requirements and inform relevant personnel on any changes. 
  • Monitor business wide activities, advising on any areas that can come under regulatory scrutiny.
  • Create a formal management program that aligns with ASIC Act and the Corporations Act.

Skills and experience

  • Tertiary qualified in a relevant field. 
  • Over 7 years of experience within legal or compliance, dealing within investment banking or exchange space.
  • Regulatory dealings experience a must.
  • Ability to frequently deal with stakeholders.
