The opportunity

Oceania Markets is at the heart of EY’s ambitious growth strategy in driving better commercial outcomes to grow EY. The team is responsible for working with our clients and EY colleagues to maintain and improve EY’s brand, develop new and innovative ways of addressing and connecting with client issues as well as to identify and coach new revenue opportunities. 

 

The Account Manager proactively manages their accounts, staying abreast of all account activity and working closely with the Client Service Partners (CSP), Account Directors (AD) and the broader account teams to develop and manage relevant activities to create an integrated, client-focused account team.  The role provides both strategic and administrative support to the AD and CSP so they are better able to conduct business development and client service activities, support the execution of go-to-market business development and marketing strategies, and maintain a high standard of account hygiene.

Your key responsibilities
You will support AD and Global CSPs to drive strategic account growth, acting as the central point for coordination of all information and administration related to the account. You will coordinate strategic relationship building activities on our accounts, including account team meetings, and management of relationship maps. You will be responsible for managing a central email box for client enquiries and tender requests/submissions. You will maintain account plans and regularly review against established milestones and targets, and ensure follow up on action items by tracking progress against deadlines. You will utilise global account management and reporting tools to maintain processes for the account.

  • Plan and participate in team meetings that foster open participation and focus on specific outcomes.
To qualify for the role you must have
  • Approximately 2-3 years of relevant experience; previous Executive Assistant, Marketing Coordinator or Project Manager experience is required
  • Previous experience working within or with Government
  • Australian citizen, capable of securing a Baseline Australian Government security clearance
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, oral and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Good analytical skills in manipulating spreadsheets and databases with ability to take many forms of data and present reports suitable for trend and financial analysis
  • MS Office Suite intermediate
