About The Role
You will play a key role in a newly created advanced analytics function where your role will be working across multiple stakeholders, keeping your role challenging and varied. Develop data driven solutions that involve end to end stages of the data lifecycle. You will need be able to hold a room and speak to business outcomes.
Duties
- Work closely with other business units to understand problems and deliver to various stakeholders
- Develop, create and maintain statistical models and machine learning algorithms
- Communicate findings in an easy to understand manner to both internal and external stakeholders
- Create visualisations that make sense to non technical stakeholders
Skills required
- Commercial experience working as a data scientist for a minimum of 4 years
- Experience working with technical tools such as Python and R
- Tertiary qualifications in either computer science, engineering, statistics or similar
- Ideally exposure to big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Scala
- Strong understanding in developing Predictive Modelling and Machine Learning techniques.
