This Industry Fund, renowned for their fantastic collaborative culture are looking for a Risk and Compliance Officer to join their team. This represents a great chance to grow and build on your already solid skill set within Risk and Compliance. The team focuses everything it does on the member and encourage open discussions around day to day goings on and strategy at all levels.

There is a very strong risk culture in place and the frameworks are well embedded in the fund. A key part of your role will be to help maintain and grow risk appetite and awareness in everything you do.

You will look at complaints and issues that arise and where necessary ensuring that at all times key relationships are managed well through any processes and ensure that the Risk team are at the forefront of any change across the fund.

Some of your key responsibilities are but not limited to:

Management of the E2E complaints process, liaising with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Management of any compliance breaches
Assisting in the development of of all new risk and compliance requirements
Support the Risk and Compliance manager in the development of any new risk frameworks
Look at and review the AML frameworks

To be successful in any application for this role you will possess:

Experience in similar environments ideally within Superannuation
You will be member focused and able to show empathy when helping with someone who may be experiencing hardship.
You will have an analytical mindset to investigate and issues that arise and the ability to interpret any relevant legislative change.
You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
