We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Projects team on a 6 month maximum term contract.
This role reports in to the Senior Manager Business Transformation and is responsible for the control and co-ordination of assigned projects to ensure they meet the agreed project deliverables in line with the Project Management Methodology of the Bank. The focus for this role will be to implement the key projects aligned to our prioritised strategic portfolio.
While your primary function will be Project Management, your broad experience and flexibility will see you capable of raising the bar and engaging team members in a process of continuous improvement of Project management methodology, processes and templates. The ability to impart Agile methodology will be highly regarded.
To be successful in this role you will possess –

• Experience in managing concurrent projects and leading project teams within the strongly regulated environment of Banking.
• Strong problem-solving and issue management skills
• Business analysis and change management experience
• Sound understanding of Business and IT System Processes
• Demonstrated experience in improving project methods and practices
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management, staff and external suppliers including the ability to articulate complex information in a clear, concise manner for both technical and non-technical audiences
• The highest professional standards and a customer service focus
