The role will provide Financial Crime assurance support to GMs within the organisations Wealth Business Lines. The financial crime assurance consultant will assist the Business to understand their compliance environment through their Fin Crime obligations and related controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Management Assurance team (Line 1) to achieve plan.
• Assist and provide AML SME support to MA Partners and stakeholders across the Business lines to meet their AML/CTF/Fraud obligations
• Provide Line 1 training and guidance materials on Financial Crime
• Build and maintain effective business relationships with key stakeholders in MA, Business, Risk and GRI Risk
• Help BUs to identify, control and monitor risks relating to AML/CTF and wider Financial Crime
• Demonstrate an effective risk and control environment
• Ensure business activities are conducted in an appropriate control environment
• Role model the desired Enterprise culture within the team

Key Requirements:

• Sound understanding of the AML/CTF law and AML Specialist accreditation
• Experience in the financial services industry
• Good understanding of Wealth Management, superannuation and investments products
