Your new role:

As the Business Risk Manager, you will be required to manage the identification, assessment, mitigation, escalation and reporting of all operational risks, compliance and incidents identified within the Distribution network.

Specifically you will:

  • Facilitate and contribute to the development, management and reporting of Corporate Partner monitoring and supervision programs
  • Contribute to ongoing due diligence and attestation for existing Corporate Partners (including oversight of outsourcing arrangements).
  • Manage bi-annual / ongoing risk profiling and action plan monitoring
  • Incident management oversight and reporting

 

About you:

As a risk professional, you will demonstrate extensive experience in a similar role, preferably working with life insurance products. Demonstrating sound working knowledge of legislation pertaining to the Insurance & Financial Services industries, including Insurance Contract Acts – you will possess:   

  • Highly developed negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional relationship building and stakeholder management
  • Proven experience in implementing and embedding compliance initiatives, activities and treatments
  • Experience in driving continuous improvements

 

Naturally, you will possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail, coupled with your ability to multi-task and deliver results within a deadline driven environment. Your proven analytical skills will be complimented by your ability to thrive in a fast paced and demanding environment.
