The company:
With a strong market presence across corporate banking this top tier bank have an established emerging corporate banking team who look after the needs of their business clients. Due to an exciting promotion this role has become available they are looking for an energetic, sales-minded individual to join the high performing team at the Laverton location.
The Role:
This growth role involves supporting the Relationship Manager in looking after existing clients and also building the portfolio by obtaining 'new-to-bank clients. It involves understanding financials and writing new credits. The role also includes a high level of business development as you will be expected to accompany the Relationship manager in some client meetings and events.
Key Duties:
- Supporting the relationship manager with business development and day to day adhoc tasks.
- Structuring credits up to 50m
- Liaising with corporate clients and identifying their banking needs.
- Understanding financials of future and current clients to provide sound advice.
- Identifying cross selling opportunities.
Skills & Experience:
- Credit writing skills of 10m+
- Ability to mitigate risk and strong financial analysis abilities.
- Degree in finance or related tertiary degree is advantageous.
- Background in the banking industry or sound understanding.
- Strong sales skills are required as the job has an element of sales.
