ROLE – SUMMARY
 
•    Enter client accounting information into system sales/purchase invoices,
•    Assist senior staff (client accounting work, e.g. cheques and reconciliations)
•    Support everyday office functions

ROLE – DETAILS

• Assist preparation of BAS, IAS as well as PAYG-related documents for individuals and organizations
• Check accounting data prepared by clients’ in-house accountant
• Check if the accounting data brought by the client’s accountant is correct
• Be responsible for taking care of management accounts
• Data entry for sales, purchases, bank account transactions/reconciliations and journal entries.
• Organize accounting reports in both Japanese and English
• Other duties as requested by senior staff
• Build a long-time relationship with clients supplying superior advice

SKILLS | COMPETENCIES 

•  Accurate bookkeeping skills are MUST
•  Experience working at Accounting firm is highly regarded
•  Studying CA or qualified preferred.
•  Advanced accounting knowledge such as accruals, provisions, tax effect accounting is preferred.
•  Advanced level in Japanese and English language skill
• Collaborative performance with ATO
• Higher-level of computer skills, especially for Excel and MYOB, XERO or other accounting systems
•  Previous experience in Tax Return process, accruals, provisions, tax effect accounting will be valued
•   Great governance with prioritising a number of tasks under time pressure is necessary
• Positive attitudes toward clients and colleagues is essential as to be a part of the team
• Holding an accounting qualification such as Diploma or Bachelors
