BASIC FUNCTIONS:
- Carry out the clerical tasks associated with general ledger schedule reconciliations and preliminary accounts payable tasks including the collating of information for processing at the Group Head Office.
- Receipt cash sales, debtors’ payments and banking.
- Maintain the daily dealership cashflow report.
- General secretarial and bookkeeping functions.
- Bank cash sales and payments from debtors.
- Reconcile and collect outstanding debtors’ accounts.
- Advise Department Manager of any unpaid cash sales invoices.
- Review cash sales control account and ensure there are no outstanding cash sales invoices and report to the Dealer Principal.
- Produce and distribute debtors’ statements monthly.
- Processing of deals for vehicle sales
- Liaison with Sales staff regarding requirements for Vehicle payouts, and then with Group Head Office regarding payments thereof.
- Process RDA’s (for each manufacturer)
- Bright personality
- Basic bookkeeping skills
- Accurate data entry and cash handling skills
- Current drivers licence
- Computerised accounting system experience
You must be comfortable in a fast paced environment and be able to handle competing deadlines and multiple tasks. A collaborative style in working with fellow workers is mandatory. Competent Microsoft Office and MS Excel skills are a must.
