Supervision is currently seeking to employ two energetic, proactive new team members who are exceptional in delivering SMSF Accounting and Advisory services.

About the role

If successful you will be responsible for your own list of clients and have the opportunity to work with team members to deliver an all encompassing end to end SMSF solution to clients. As an experienced accountant within this team you will be responsible for year end taxation reconciliations and completion of compliance documentation.

You are someone that presents well and has excellent communication skills and confidence to interact with your peers, clients, financial advisers, auditors, actuaries, lawyers, business consultants and to make technical presentations. You will be willing to support in ongoing internal or external training, delivering presentations and attending networking events.

You will be someone who embraces technology and the benefits it can provide. You understand that good systems and processes are imperative to building a scalable business that can deliver a consistent and repeatable high quality service.

You will be required to deliver great outcomes and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. You are someone who is proactive and will seek to improve upon existing processes.

Skills and experience

Ideally you will have:

  • CA or CPA practitioner;
  • RG 146 qualifications;
  • SIS understanding;
  • minimum 5 years professional public practice accounting experience;
  • Organisational skills to effectively plan and execute your tax return program;
  • Communication skills to effectively engage with colleagues, clients and suppliers;
  • Technical taxation skills to deliver the required service to clients and deliver quality financial reports;
  • Experience in all administrative aspects of an accounting firm.
  • Expertise in Class Super software

Ability to cope with demanding weekly targets and periodic deadlines.
Completion of all fund duties including creating and commuting pensions, wind up's and death benefits of members.

It would be highly desirable to have:

  • Understanding of how to improve systems and processes;
  • Xero accreditation and experience;
  • Ability to run operational meetings and reporting to management;
  • TPB Registered Tax agent;
  • Experience in running an SMSF Administration team.
