The Company
Our client is a well-known investment group with a presence across Australia. The firm is privately owned Currently they are looking for a talented and driven Accountant to join their culture of success in a broad, hands on role. This position will sit in a professional, corporate environment with state of the art offices.
The Role
As the Accountant your role will be broad and will provide you with the opportunity to learn and take on responsibility. You will act as a key direct report to a Financial Controller and perform the following duties:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Processing of accruals and prepayments
- BAS reporting
- Fixed asset register
- General ledger/ trial balance duties
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Commissions accounting & reporting
Your Background
To be considered for this Accountant position, you should possess the following skills and attributes:
- Be a fully or part qualified accountant (e.g. CA/CPA)
- Available immediately or on short notice
- A professional work attitude
- Excellent time management skills and be goal oriented
- Exemplary communication skills are essential as this position communicates to stakeholders across the business
