We currently have an exciting opening for an Accounts Payable Officer to join a leading marketing and communications organisation who are currently working with some high-profile clients. This opportunity also offers the benefit of working in a creative and fast paced workplace environment. This position is located within close proximity to public transport.

Our client is apart of the marketing communication industry, that bring their clients creative ideas to life, their reach is through all aspects of social media and spans across the globe. This position is one that will have you working as an Accounts Payable Officer at their Melbourne location, where the work-place is highly regarded for their friendly team-based culture. This position will be on a permanent basis with the start date to be late July.
Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role will include but will not be limited to:
- High volume end to end accounts payable
- Reconciliation of supplier and general ledger accounts
- Processing of weekly payment runs
- Compliance with company polices and procedures
- Deal with supplier queries in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with month end journals and other responsibilities
- Ad-hoc support to the manager as requested
Profile
The successful applicant would ideally have previous experience working in an end-to-end Accounts Payable role and be able to accurately process a high number of invoices on a daily basis. Being a strong communicator and having the ability to work in a team based environment is essential. A creative mind as well as a positive attitude is also expected from the successful candidate. Previous experience using SAP would be considered advantageous.
