SENIOR FINANCE OFFICER
(CA OR CPA)
We are seeking a Senior Finance Officer (CA or CPA) with strong expertise in Management and Financial reporting to work inclusively with management to ensure the effective financial running of the organisation.
The position will include:
Oversight of day-to-day financial management including debtors, creditors, cash flow, payroll etc for a number of programs and projects
Financial and management reporting
Modelling of future financial needs and direction
Ensuring statutory compliance considering corporate taxation, FBT etc
Strong Governance awareness
Leadership and mentoring skills
Strong forecasting and budget skills
Advance level MYOB/EXO skills highly desirable
Leading a team within the finance team; this individual will be committed to maintaining the quality, integrity and timeliness of data to contribute to decision-making and planning
This position is an integral part of the organisation in regards to service inputs and output and will have oversight of programs/projects from a financial point of view.
Skills Required
CPA or CA qualifications
Five (5) years Management accounting experience
Leadership and Mentoring qualities
Knowledge of ATO and ORIC requirements & reporting
To be successful you will have the ability to work in a culturally diverse setting, be culturally oriented and sensitive; have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving as well as high level time management skills.
